Biographical Info
James joined MMA Insurance in 2021. James has 10 years of industry experience and is excited to work with his team to help clients protect their assets and achieve their personal and professional goals. James has been a Bend, Oregon native since 2000; and a lifelong Oregonian. He owned his own agency with COUNTRY Financial since 2012, and was very successful within that company where he won several company awards including their top All American award multiple times. He wanted to have more options for clients, so he decided to make the switch to MMA.
James loves to be involved with the local community. He is a current Rotary Club of Bend board member and is the chair for the Interact Club of Mountain View High School where he mentors students on planning and executing community projects. He is a past president of his current BNI networking group and he most recently won the “accomplished under 40” award with Cascade Business News.
When James isn’t helping clients, he is spending time with his wife, Lisa, and his Labradoodle puppy, Clyde. He loves the Central Oregon lifestyle and spending time outdoors hiking and camping. He is an avid Blazers, Mariners and Oregon Ducks fan, which means he’s a glutton for punishment. Having the industry experience and community presence makes James a valuable asset with MMA Insurance and he is excited to make a difference with his clients!
